By now, you can file this under "News, stale" but if you were wondering why the Bruins had a five-day layoff last week, here you go:

The Garden was unavailable, as it was booked for Monday's Celtics-Clippers game, NCAA basketball happenings on Wednesday and Thursday, and Friday's Jonas Brothers concert. In addition, a road game originally scheduled for March 25 had to be moved to another day because the host team had "a building availability problem of its own," according to John Dellapina, NHL Director of Media Relations.

Riveting stuff, but hey, now you know.
