Good morning from TD Banknorth Garden, where the Bruins will host the Rangers this afternoon. Tim Thomas and Peter Chiarelli are scheduled to speak at 10 a.m. We'll have some updates from their press conference.

Some tidbits from the game notes:

* With a win or an overtime/shootout loss today, the Bruins will clinch the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Washington gained one point last night by losing to Buffalo in overtime.

* David Krejci (1-7--8) has a four-game scoring streak.

* The Rangers have the best penalty kill in the league (88 percent).

* Dan Marouelli and Wes McCauley will be the referees. Brian Murphy and Pierre Champoux will be the linesmen.
