Aaron Ward will not play today because of an undisclosed injury. According to Claude Julien, Ward suffered the injury on Thursday against Ottawa. Ward left practice early yesterday and was receiving treatment after practice. Julien said the injury is not serious and that he expects Ward to play on Tuesday against the Senators.

Steve Montador, a healthy scratch for the last game, will be back in the lineup on defense today. Montador will most likely skate with Andrew Ference on the second pairing.
