Andrew Ference might be out tonight. (Barry Chin/Globe Staff)

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Good morning from the RBC Center, where the Bruins will look to tie the series at 2-2 tonight.

Some tidbits from the game notes:

* We might find out later this morning about the availability of Andrew Ference and Blake Wheeler. If neither can go, Shane Hnidy and Byron Bitz would dress for the first time in this series. There have not been any promotions from Providence.

* Eric Staal brings a two-game goal-scoring streak into tonight's match. Staal has been one of the best players during the series. With one more point, Staal would tie Ron Francis as the franchise's all-time leading scorer (39 points).

* The Bruins are 0 for 9 on the power play this series.

* Kevin Pollock and Dave Jackson will be the referees. Jean Morin and Thor Nelson will be the linesmen.
