Will Scott Walker and Shawn Thornton renew acquaintances tonight? (Streeter Lecka / Getty Images)

Shawn Thornton -- the Bruins top pugilist with 17 scraps during the regular season -- went out of his way yesterday to stress that nothing is more important in playoff hockey than keeping your emotions in check and winning games. Check out the video below for more of Thornton's thoughts (which he expressed before the team learned that Carolina's Scott Walker would not be suspended for his questionable punch to Aaron Ward during Game 5).

But, noting the picture above from Game 3, you can't help but wonder what might happen if Thornton and Walker cross paths this evening.

What's your take? Do the Bruins need to retaliate or should their sole focus be on forcing a deciding Game 7. Leave your thoughts in the comments section.
