Teams USA's New England ties

Massachusetts natives Scott Gordon (Easton) and John Tortorella (Concord) have been named Team USA's assistant coaches for the 2010 Winter Games.

New England will be well-represented in Vancouver among Team USA's bosses. Ron Wilson, a Providence graduate, will be the head coach. GM Brian Burke attended Providence and Harvard. Assistant GM David Poile is a Northeastern alum.

  1. Rich you have to throw the Sweds into the mix, more than likely against Canada. If the US team invites Kessel that does not bold well for the US.
