WOODRIDGE, IL -- Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 US Olympic gold medal hockey team, will dine in downtown Chicago tonight with the entire group of 34 hopefuls who hope to be part of the US Olympic squad that will play at the 2010 Games in Vancouver in February.

Eruzione, remembered most for imploring all his Team USA members to come to the medal stand at Lake Placid in 1980, will be joined this eve by fellow ex-BU Terrier and gold-medal winner Jack O'Callahan.

Meanwhile, Day 2 of the Olympic orientation camp continues here some 30 miles southwest of Chicago.

Chris Chelios, favorite son of Chicago and still hoping to play in the NHL next season, is here as a special assistant to the team. He also has been filling in on the ice for backliner Paul Martin, who has been hindered by a slight injury
