Bruins acquire Paille from Sabres

The Bruins announced tonight that they have acquired forward Daniel Paille from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a third-round pick in 2010 and a conditional fourth-round selection in 2010.

Paille, a first-round pick of the Sabres in the 2002 Draft, has appeared in 195 NHL games, all with Buffalo.

In his career, the 25-year-old from Welland, Ontario has scored 32 goals and added 42 assists, with 54 penalty minutes.

Last season, the 6-foot, 197-pound forward had 12 goals and 15 assists. His best season came in 2007-08 when he scored 19 goals and compiled 16 assists in 77 games.

Paille has played in two games for the Sabres this year, with one assist.
