DETROIT -- Good morning from Joe Louis Arena, where the Bruins will face off against the Red Wings tonight. The game will air on Versus.

* Zdeno Chara will most likely be matched against Detroit's power line of Tomas Holmstrom, Pavel Datsyuk, and Todd Bertuzzi. Datsyuk has scored two goals and four assists in his last three games. Holmstrom has never scored a goal against the Bruins in 14 career games. Boston is the only team Holmstrom has never scored against.

* The Boston power play (12.2 percent, 29th in the league) will go up against the Detroit penalty kill (72.7 percent, 28th in the NHL).

* The Wings average 9.3 penalty minutes per game, fewest in the NHL.

* Dan O'Halloran and Kevin Pollock will be the referees. Shane Heyer and Greg Devorski will be the linesmen.
