Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host Buffalo tonight. We should see a head-to-head match of Tim Thomas and Ryan Miller, two of the three goalies (Colorado's Craig Anderson might be the other) contending for five-ring duty for the Stars & Stripes in Vancouver.

* With Mikko Lehtonen assigned to Providence yesterday, expect Byron Bitz to be in the lineup tonight. Bitz missed the last three games because of a groin injury.

* This will be our first in-person look at promising D-man Tyler Myers, currently third on the Sabres in average time on ice per game (20:48). Myers has three goals and four assists in 13 games.

* Buffalo has lost only one road game.

* Marc Joannette and Frederick L'Ecuyer will be the referees. Brad Kovachik and Andy McElman will be the linesmen.
