Brendan Hall checks in with this report from Bruins practice Wednesday:

Bruins defenseman Dennis Wideman hasn't skated with the team since the second period of Saturday's 7-2 win over Toronto. But immediately following this morning's practice at Wilmington's Ristuccia Arena, he took a quick skate out on the ice.

Head coach Claude Julien listed Wideman, who has an upper body injury, as "questionable" for tomorrow night's matchup with the Leafs.

"I'm not writing him off. He's doing pretty good today, so we'll see," Julien said. "It's just one of those injuries that can mean, one day you see him, next day he's full go."

Derek Morris also skated with the team for the first time since Saturday, having taken Monday and yesterday off for maintenance days.

"(I feel) Pretty good, just getting old, old age," Morris laughed.

Meanwhile, Matt Hunwick stayed after for nearly an hour working through skating and shooting drills with assistant coaches Doug Houda and John Whitesides. The drills for Hunwick, who was a healthy scratch for the first time this season last Saturday, included taking a slew of slap shots from behind the circles in rapid-fire succession. It should be noted that his aim, for the most part, was accurate.
