The Bruins will wear their outdoor game uniforms indoors today.

Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host the streaking Senators, winners of five straight, this afternoon.

  • Marc Savard (knee), Marco Sturm (leg), Steve Begin (undisclosed), and Byron Bitz (undisclosed) will not play today. While there's a slim chance Savard could dress tomorrow against Carolina, it's more likely that he'll return next Friday against Buffalo.
  • The Bruins will wear their Winter Classic jerseys today.
  • The Senators have the worst power play in the league (15.4 percent). The Bruins have the league's second-best penalty kill (87.6 percent).
  • Kelly Sutherland and Marc Joannette will be the referees. Michel Cormier and David Brisebois will be the linesmen.
UPDATE: Savard and Bitz skated on their own earlier today. None of the four injured players will play tomorrow or travel with the team to Carolina.
