Marc Savard has been diagnosed with a partially torn MCL in his right knee. The injury will sideline Savard for 3-4 weeks. Savard will not require surgery.

Savard has nine goals and 13 assists in 28 games. Savard missed 15 games because of a broken left foot earlier this season.

Savard sprained his right knee last year in Game 6 of the second round. Savard didn't require surgery.
