Patrice Bergeron is on the ice for the morning skate, indicating that his bruised right knee is OK. Bergeron took a Mark Stuart slapper off the knee in the third period of Tuesday's 5-2 win over Carolina.

* Andrew Ference is participating in his first skate with his teammates. Ference could play on Sunday against the Rangers if he continues to progress from his groin injury

* Blake Wheeler, Dennis Wideman, and Johnny Boychuk are the only players not participating in the skate.
