Line changes in practice
WILMINGTON -- Good morning from Ristuccia Arena, where the Bruins, after being blanked by Florida last night, are trying out some new lines in practice.
Milan Lucic | Patrice Bergeron | Mark Recchi |
Marco Sturm | David Krejci | Miroslav Satan |
Brad Marchand | Vladimir Sobotka | Blake Wheeler |
Daniel Paille | Begin/Whitfield | Ryder/Thornton |
Zdeno Chara | Dennis Seidenberg |
Mark Stuart | Dennis Wideman |
Matt Hunwick | Johnny Boychuk |
Tuukka Rask |
Tim Thomas |
"You've got to do something on the ice when we're struggling to score goals and we've got certain guys who aren't going as well," Claude Julien said. "You hope that making changes will either spark them, wake them up, or at least give different lines some better opportunities."
* Andrew Ference (groin) will not make the trip to Toronto. Ference will most likely miss Monday's game against Washington as well.
* Shawn Thornton, who missed last night's game because of an upper-body injury, said he's fit to play tomorrow.
