Morning briefing
Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host Buffalo tonight in their second-to-last regular-season home game. The Bruins cannot clinch a playoff spot tonight.
* Because of Toronto's loss to the Rangers last night, the Bruins are guaranteed a top-three selection in the 2010 draft. According to the Central Scouting Bureau's final rankings, Tyler Seguin, Taylor Hall, and Brett Connolly are the three highest-ranking prospects.
* Thomas Vanek (groin) and Tim Connolly (lower body) are not expected to play tonight.
* NESN will air tonight's game. Versus will pick up the NESN feed outside of New England.
* Kerry Fraser and Ian Walsh will be the referees. Dan Schachte and Michel Cormier will be the linesmen.
