Practice kicks off
The Bruins have hit the ice for practice. As expected, Daniel Paille is off the No. 1 line. Blake Wheeler is on the left wing with Patrice Bergeron and Mark Recchi.
Paille is on the third line with Vladimir Sobotka, Michael Ryder, and a fourth forward in Brad Marchand. The other two lines remain the same.
"Just a change," Claude Julien explained. "Just changing our lines around. Trying to find something to spark certain people. You see that happen quite often. Just felt it was time for a change."
How the Bruins lined up in practice today:
Blake Wheeler | Patrice Bergeron | Mark Recchi |
Milan Lucic | Marc Savard | Miroslav Satan |
Paille/Marchand | Vladimir Sobotka | Michael Ryder |
Steve Begin | Trent Whitfield | Shawn Thornton |
