Reader Justin Aucoin reached out over the weekend to propose a way to honor Fred Cusick: altering the TD Garden post-goal celebration to include the play-by-play man's signature call.

"We're trying to start a movement to get the Bruins to change their post-goal sound byte from Ric Flair going "Woo!" to the legendary Fred Cusick going "SCORE!" We think there's no better way to honor the legendary Bruins announcer than that," wrote Aucoin. "Imagine his voice over the PA after the Bruins score an OT game-winner in the playoffs. I think it would electrify the Garden and make each goal celebration more special than the "Woo!" which I think a few other NHL teams already do. We've created a flyer (in JPG and PDF form) for people to download to bring to practices, games, signings, etc. We're hoping enough Bruins and NHL fans will contact their ticket reps and fan reps that the B's crew go with the idea."
