The Bruins and Islanders, originally scheduled to play two rookie games next month in Shelton, Conn., will face off at TD Garden instead.

The games will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 15, and Thursday, Sept. 16. Both games will start at 7 p.m. Admission is $5, with proceeds going to the Boston Bruins Foundation. Tickets will be available starting next Thursday at the Garden box office, through Ticketmaster, or www.bostonbruins.com.

Tyler Seguin, among other rookies, is expected to play in both games.
