Less than a week into training camp, the Bruins this morning dismissed eight more players from their preseason roster.

The cuts included Adam Courchaine, Ryan Donald, Michael Hutchinson, Levi Nelson, Tyler Randell, Antoine Roussel, Jordan Smotherman, and Cody Wild.

Courchaine, Hutchinson, Nelson, and Wild have been assigned to the Providence Bruins of the AHL.

Donald, Smotherman and Roussel, all of whom were on tryout agreements, also will report to the WannaBs in hopes of securing pro contracts.

Randell is headed back to Kitchener, Ont., to join the Rangers, his junior club.

The Bruins open their preseason schedule tonight in Montreal against the hated Habs.
