All done at the Garden. Max Sauve to Ryan Spooner for the OT winner. Bruins, 2-1.

20:00 3d period: 1-1
Headed to overtime. Islanders with a 33-29 shot advantage.

10:00 3d period: 1-1
Not a good shift for Tyler Seguin. Two giveaways across his offensive blue line lead to rushes the other way.

4:00 3d period: 1-1
Attendance: 14,180.

20:00 2d period: 1-1
Better game tonight than last night for Ryan Spooner, who scored a goal and hit the post in the second. Will be sent back to junior, but you can see the speed and skill. Quieter night for Tyler Seguin. Hasn't had the puck enough to show his stuff.

17:37 2d period: 1-1
Max Sauve gets stopped, but Ryan Spooner, who had the initial drop-pass feed, gets in on the rebound by batting in a mid-air puck. Sauve in the middle of things once more.

13:10 2d period: Islanders 1-0
Lane MacDermid vs. Travis Hamonic. Some big-time bombs thrown and landed by the lads. Tough scrap.

7:40 2d period: Islanders 1-0
During a two-on-one rush, Ryan Spooner pings a wrister off the right post.

5:16 2d period: Islanders 1-0
Jamie Arniel banged up. Getting looked at on the bench. Not sure what happened, but he's checking around his jaw.

20:00 1st period: Islanders 1-0
Very sleepy first period for the Bruins, who put only four pucks on net. Michael Hutchinson probably wanted his goal back, but otherwise looked sharp with 11 saves. Jordan Caron continues to play a thick game. Max Sauve one of the better rookies again. Zero fights in the first. Kids these days.

19:12 1st period: Islanders 1-0
Yury Alexandrov off for hooking. Must be that No. 41 jersey that makes D-men take bad penalties.

12:34 1st period: Islanders 1-0
Tony Romano beats Michael Hutchinson with a sharp-angle slapper.

0:14 1st period: 0-0
Again, still no fights. Disgraceful...
