Game 4: Bruins at Capitals
WASHINGTON -- Good morning from the Verizon Center, where the Bruins will play their final road game tonight prior to their home opener against the Capitals on Thursday at TD Garden.
For now, we'll guess that Tuukka Rask will get the start tonight. That will be updated, most likely, upon the conclusion of the morning skate.
Puck drop: 7:30 p.m.
Record: Bruins 2-1-0, Capitals 4-1-0
TV info: Versus (Joe Beninati, Andy Brickley)
Projected lineup
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Jordan Caron-Patrice Bergeron-Blake Wheeler
Mark Recchi-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Mark Stuart-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Matt Hunwick
Tuukka Rask
Tim Thomas
Healthy scratches: Daniel Paille, Brian McGrattan, Adam McQuaid
Storylines: With the Bruins playing as well as they did against New Jersey, tough to see how Paille, McGrattan, or McQuaid crack the lineup for ice time... Natick's John Carlson leads all NHL rookies with six points (one goal, five assists)... Alex Ovechkin has recorded at least one point in every game... Washington's penalty kill is perfect this season (21 for 21).
