Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host the Maple Leafs tonight. It will be the first game for the Bruins against a Northeast Division opponent this season.

Tonight will mark the first game the Bruins will play without Johnny Boychuk, who'd been paired with Zdeno Chara. Adam McQuaid will make his season debut.

Puck drop: 7 p.m.

Storylines: Tonight is Milt Schmidt Night. The club will honor the Bruins legend by unveiling an exhibit at the Sports Museum tonight. Schmidt will also be honored during the game... Phil Kessel will be looking for his first point on Boston ice since being traded to Toronto... Dave Jackson and Greg Kimmerly will be the referees. Michel Cormier and Dan Schachte will be the linesmen.
