WASHINGTON -- Good morning from the Verizon Center, where the Bruins will conclude their three-game road swing tonight against Washington. The Bruins will have an optional morning skate.

Puck drop: 7 p.m.

Record: Bruins 7-2-0, Capitals 8-4-0

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley), 98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers)

Projected lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Jordan Caron-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi
Blake Wheeler-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Andrew Ference
Mark Stuart-Dennis Seidenberg
Matt Hunwick-Adam McQuaid

Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask

Healthy scratches: Daniel Paille, Brian McGrattan

Storylines: This is already the third meeting between the two clubs. The Bruins have won both previous games... This will be the first game against Washington without Johnny Boychuk, who helped shut down Alex Ovechkin... If not for Tim Thomas, some of the Eastern Conference chatter would revolve around Michal Neuvirth (8-3-0, 2.31 GAA, .920 save percentage), who's been excellent so far... Marc Joannette and Steve Kozari will be the referees. Derek Nansen and Tony Sericolo will be the linesmen.
