Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host the Senators tonight. The Bruins won the first meeting of the season at Scotiabank Place, 4-0, with Tim Thomas earning the shutout. Thomas should be in goal tonight.

Expect Shawn Thornton to approach Chris Neil sometime early. Neil didn't make many friends with his late-game scrap with Dennis Seidenberg last month.

Puck drop: 7 p.m.

Record: Senators 8-7-1, Bruins 8-4-1

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley), 98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers), CBC

Projected lineup:

Milan Lucic-Patrice Bergeron-Nathan Horton
Jordan Caron-Blake Wheeler-Mark Recchi
Daniel Paille-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Andrew Ference
Matt Hunwick-Dennis Seidenberg
Mark Stuart-Adam McQuaid

Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask

Healthy scratches: none

Storylines: The Bruins will look to stop a trend of allowing the first goal. They are 2-4-1 when going down by a goal... Zdeno Chara has a goal in each of the last two games... The Bruins have been outshot in the last six games. It's the longest such streak since they were outshot in nine straight games from Jan. 13 to Feb. 1, 2009... Francois St. Laurent and Stephen Walkom will be the referees. Jean Morin and Tim Nowak will be the linesmen.
