It's a final here at TD Garden. The Bruins were shut out by goalie Jonas Hiller and the Anaheim Ducks, 3-0. The win ends' the Ducks' losing streak at two games. Boston has won just once in its last five outings.

Third period
16:57 - The Bruins have been putting pressure on the Ducks, attacking the net, but goaltender Jonas Hiller has been enormous. Having said that, it's been rare that the Bruins were able to parlay second and third chances after the initial shot.

10:42 - Not looking good here at the Garden if you're a Bruins' fan. No signs pointing to a late comeback.

5:00 - The Bruins are trying to dig out of a deep hole and through the first quarter of the third period, they haven't looked like they're going to be able to. With the exception of a pretty good bid by David Krejci, it's been all Anaheim.

Second period
15:05 - Anaheim 3, Boston 0 - So much for the man advantage. The Ducks looked more like the ones on the power play as they increased their lead to three goals as a result of a shorthanded goal. After strong bids by Bobby Ryan and Brandon McMillan, despite being a man down, it was Corey Perry who cashed in. He skated down the right circle, cut to the net, held possession of the puck and jammed it in from the edge of the crease.

13:34 - Ryan Getzlaf has been whistled off for tripping. Boston is on the power play, looking for the team's first goal.

11:02 - Nothing doing on the power play. Bruins still looking to get on the board.

9:02 - Bruins go on the power play. Bruins defenseman Steven Kampfer was hit from behind by Teemu Selanne, earning him a boarding call. Kampfer appears okay although he went to the dressing room to be checked out.

4:45 - Anaheim 2, Boston 0 - Defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky has given the Ducks a two-goal lead. Veteran Teemu Selanne started the play with a shot that Tim Thomas stopped but Visnovsky, who was high in the slot, was there for the rebound and beat the netminder to the glove side.

1:52 - Gregory Campbell and Kyle Chipchura have dropped the gloves after a faceoff. It was a quick one with both players landing blows. Let's see if it ignites some energy.

0:00 - Nathan Horton on the Bruins bench. Good sign.
First period
20:00 - In the waning seconds of the period, Bruins' right wing Nathan Horton was felled by an elbow courtesy of Anaheim's Bobby Ryan. He skated to the bench under his own power but appeared to be shaken up. We will see if he is able to go for the second period.

16:46 - Bruins' captain Zdeno Chara teed up a slapper from the left point and it redirected off Milan Lucic in the left circle, after which the puck struck Anaheim defenseman Toni Lydman. He went to the dressing room to be attended to.

13:55 - The Bruins are not looking very fluid to this point. Anaheim is carrying the play. Not sure why they have come out of the gate so slowly. The Ducks said one goal they had coming in, given their recent slide, was to start strong and put a lot of pressure on Boston. So far, they have.

5:57 - Anaheim 1, Boston 0 - The Ducks have struck first. Defenseman Luca Sbisa faked a shot from atop the left circle and instead, passed down to center Brandon McMillan who was low in the slot. McMillan beat goalie Tim Thomas for his second goal of the year.

4:30 - Former Boston University standout Nick Bonino had a strong shift for the Ducks. Bonino, who is playing in his 24th NHL contest, is still looking for his first NHL point.

3:08 - The Bruins kill off Anaheim's power play and are back to even strength.

1:08 - David Krejci has been assessed a two-minute minor for goaltender interference. Anaheim is on the power play.
