18:45 - Bruins pull Rask for an extra skater. Seidenberg gets off a scorcher from the left point, and rushes to the net for a backhand stab at the rebound by Fleury stops both.
Bruins have outshot Pens, 15-11, in the third but can't get the equalizer.
13th minute - Ryder gets a nice shot off the left wing but the puck hits Fleury's right pad and then the post and skitters aside.
10th minute - Another strong shift from the workhorse line of Campbell, Shawn Thornton, and Paille. Thornton set up Seidenberg for a hard shot from the left point, and Campbell dove to the ice to get his stick on the puck for a rebound try.
7:10 - Scary moment when Marc Savard goes down in right corner of Bruins zone after centering a pass to Nathan Horton, who can't collect the puck for a good shot. Savard cranked into the boards by Deryk Engelland, is able to skate off on his own after a few minutes.

Jordan Staal gives Pittsburgh the lead, stuffing a backhand swipe past Rask at the left post. Matt Cooke fed the puck out from behind the net with a blind backhand pass.
15:00 Bruins have just announced that Steve Kampfer, who headed to the locker room in the first minute of the second period after getting cut by a high stick, will not return to today's game.
11:41, Bruins 2, Penguins 2 -It's a new game: two goals in 13 seconds for the B's. First, on the heels of Rask's great stop on Malkin, Dennis Seidenberg capitalizes on a strong shift from Campbell's line, cranking a shot from the left point that beats Marc-Andre Fleury, with the help of a screen from Daniel Paille, at 11:28.
Thirteen seconds later, Michael Ryder's wrister from the slot ties the game at two.
9:20 - Bruins' giveaway sends Malkin across the blue line alone, but Rask stands up to Malkin's shot, and appears to get a piece of his glove on the rebound to deflect it into the corner.
4:40 - Bruins fail to cash in on the 4-minute power play.
0:57 - Dupuis back on the scoresheet, this time with a double minor for high sticking after raking Steve Kampfer in the face, drawing blood.
0:41, Penguins, 2-0 - Pascal Dupuis gives the Penguins a two-goal bulge, taking a bounce off the back boards and tucking a forehand between Rask and the left post.
Less than 2 minutes in the period - Johnny Boychuk tries to get Cooke interested in something physical as the two get locked up and back into Rask's net, but Cooke isn't playing and skates off the ice for a line change. The period ends with a handful of tough saves for Rask, who takes one shot off the mask. Shots are 12-12 after the first period.
15:10 - Gregory Campbell and the Pens' Craig Adams square off at center ice. Adams gets in a few shots early, Campbell hammers him late with a strong flurry. Both draw fighting penalties.
10:57, Penguins, 1-0: Cooke, fresh out of the box, leads the Penguins up-ice, rushing down the right wing. He passes across the Bruins ' zone to Jordan Staal, who centers the puck for Chris Kunitz, who redirects the puck past Tuukka Rask for his 15th goal of the season.
8:44 - Matt Cooke called for interference after dumping Adam McQuaid on his backside. Bruins get several good shots on the pp but can't connect
5:20 - Michael Ryder tagged with a tripping penalty and the Pens (13th in the league at 18.3 %) get their first power play. They, too come up empty, failing to register a shot on goal.
2:12 - Brad Marchand lays a big hit on Evgeni Malkin just in front of the Bruin penalty box, and Pittsburgh's Pascal Dupuis charges at Marchand. He gets a slashing penalty for his trouble and the Bruins get their first power play of the game.
Bruins' PP, 18th in the league at 17.3 %, never gets it going. Back to even strength.
