The Bruins will not skate this morning at the Staples Center. They skated yesterday at 5:30 p.m. EST at the Toyota Sports Center, the Kings' practice facility.

Marc Savard is being examined by doctors today in Boston. Savard and the Bruins could know more about his condition later today. Savard flew from Denver to Boston yesterday after suffering a head shot on Saturday.

Puck drop: 10:30 p.m. EST

Storylines: The former No. 1 line of Milan Lucic, David Krejci, and Nathan Horton will be reunited. They were the top threesome at the start of the season when Savard was unavailable... Ex-Bruin Marco Sturm will not play tonight because of tendinitis in his knee... Daniel Paille, a healthy scratch for the last four games, will skate on the fourth line... Former University of Michigan teammates Steven Kampfer and Jack Johnson will play against each other as NHLers for the first time... Mike Leggo and Marcus Vinnerborg will be the referees.
