PITTSBURGH -- Good afternoon from the Consol Energy Center, where the Bruins have started practice following their kick-in-the-gut 3-2 OT loss to Montreal last night.

Nathan Horton, David Krejci, Mark Recchi, and Adam McQuaid are not on the ice. Horton is considered 50-50 for tomorrow's game. Could be maintenance days for the other three.

The Bruins spent almost two hours at the rink before hitting the ice. There was probably extensive video work, and maybe some raised voices to address last night's loss.

"I think it was important to go over some video and some situations and try to rectify that," Claude Julien said. "It's very unfortunate that we're talking this morning about a game in which we played extremely well for 40-plus minutes. There were some times in the third period where we did some pretty good things. But not necessarily every line. We gave them some momentum. You end up losing a game, technically. Even though you gain a point, it's something that you should have come out with two."

* Julien confirmed that Horton, Krejci, Recchi, and McQuaid were given maintenance days.

* Sidney Crosby will not play tomorrow because of a concussion.
