There was plenty of hustle and bustle in the Bruins' locker room after their 2-1 victory over the Florida Panthers at TD Garden.

As the players head into the NHL All-Star break, everyone was packing to head off in various directions with goalie Tim Thomas, defenseman Zdeno Chara, and rookie forward Tyler Seguin traveling to Raleigh for the league's annual festivities (with Seguin one of 12 rookies to play in the SuperSkills competition).

The Bruins go into the recess feeling good about themselves, having won seven of their last 10 contests. They are third in the Eastern Conference and first in the Northeast Division, 4 points ahead of Montreal.
``We've improved as the year has gone on,'' said Patrice Bergeron. ``I think our consistency has gotten a lot better. There is still some room for improvement but that is just how it is. You have to improve and get better as a team. It's a long season and you can't look too far ahead.''

Other items of note:

**Center David Krejci, who went left arm-first into the boards at 12:28 of the opening period but who came back a couple of minutes later, said it was scary for a couple of moments but although he has some soreness, he feels as if it is nothing to worry about.
``It was like my whole arm getting tweaked going for position,'' said Krejci. ``It was a little uncomfortable for a few seconds so I stayed on the ice. You know, it got a little better so it's sore but obviously, nothing major.''
Krejci's faceoff win led directly to the Bruins' winning goal - by Milan Lucic at 1:52 of the second period.

**Bruins forward Milan Lucic potted his 20th goal for the first time in his career.
