It's a final on the Island: Boston 6, NY Islanders 3.

Boston, 6-3. Tavares continues to impress, knocking in a rebound after Rask failed to hang on to the initial shot with 7:03 remaining. A softee for sure.

7:17 -- Boston, 6-2. Lucic scores a power-play goal. The big fella parked himself in front, collected a rebound of Chara's blue line slapper, and banged home his 24th.

-- Boston, 5-2. The second-period scoring flurry continues as Islanders' Josh Bailey beats Rask with a slapper between the circles.

-- Boston, 5-1. Seguin pots his 10th of his rookie campaign after settling a nice cross-slot pass from Thornton. The goalie chases Lawson from the pipes. Montoya takes over for Islanders.

-- Boston, 4-1. Rookie John Tavares ruins Tuukka Rask's shutout bid with his 22d of the season.

-- Boston, 4-0. Krejci bangs home a backhander from the slot minutes into the second peiod.

9:04 -- Boston, 3-0. Paille to front of net, tips home Campbell's 50-foot wrister from above right wing circle.

7:03 -- Boston, 2-0. Recchi to crease, knocks in backhand feed from Bergeron.

2:01 -- McQuaid and Konopka, 5m each for fighting.

1:52 -- Bruins, 1-0. Wheeler connects with 15-foot backhander from along goal line. Bad goal allowed by GT Nathan Lawson.
