RALEIGH, N.C. -- Good morning from the RBC Center, otherwise known as home away from home for some of us. Tonight will mark the third time in seven days Tim Thomas and Zdeno Chara will skate on this ice. The Bruins beat the Hurricanes here last Tuesday. They participated in Sunday's All-Star Game. Tonight, the Hurricanes will host the Bruins in the first post-break game.

Given Thomas's workload lately, we'll assume he gets a breather tonight. We could know more following the morning skate.

Puck drop: 7 p.m.

Record: Hurricanes 25-19-6, Bruins 28-15-7

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley, Naoko Funayama), 98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers)

Projected lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi
Blake Wheeler-Tyler Seguin-Michael Ryder
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Steven Kampfer
Dennis Seidenberg-Johnny Boychuk
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Tuukka Rask
Tim Thomas

Healthy scratches: Mark Stuart

Storylines: Lots of trucks lined up outside the RBC Center, which is slowly shifting back to normal operations. All the regular-season signage is back on the boards. There remains an All-Star Game logo at center ice... Steven Kampfer is expected to play with a visor tonight instead of the full face shield... Mark Stuart could be the healthy scratch again. While the Bruins would prefer to keep Stuart for depth, he might be on the trade block because of his cap hit... Frederick L'Ecuyer and Kelly Sutherland will be the referees. Derek Nansen and Tony Sericolo will be the linesmen.
