VANCOUVER -- Good morning from Rogers Arena, where the Bruins will take on the league's best team tonight. The buzz around town is that tonight might be a preview of a postseason meeting. Long way to go before that could happen.

Tonight will be the second time East Vancouver native Milan Lucic plays his hometown team. Lucic was honored last night before the Vancouver-Chilliwack junior game. Other Bruins with British Columbia ties are Mark Recchi and Cam Neely.

Puck drop: 10 p.m. EST

Record: Bruins 34-19-7, Canucks 39-14-9

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley, Naoko Funayama), 98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers)

Projected lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi
Rich Peverley-Chris Kelly-Michael Ryder
Tyler Seguin-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk

Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Storylines: Marblehead native Cory Schneider has proven to be one of the league's best No. 2 goalies. Schneider should back up Roberto Luongo tonight... The Canucks are without old friend Andrew Alberts (wrist)... Recchi has a goal and four assists in his last five games... Vancouver has the league's best power play (25.1 percent)... Kevin Pollock and Kyle Rehman will be the referees. Ryan Galloway and Dan Schachte will be the linesmen.
