The Senators have signed former Merrimack star Stephane Da Costa to a two-year entry-level contract. The Bruins had been interested in signing the right-shot forward, who was undrafted. Da Costa had 14 goals and 31 assists this year.

This is the second year the Senators have signed a Hockey East star. Last season, they signed Marlborough native Bobby Butler as a free agent. Butler scored 29 goals and 24 assists as a senior at the University of New Hampshire.
