Ryder practicing on fourth line
WILMINGTON -- Good afternoon from Ristuccia Arena, where the Bruins are going through a tuneup prior to tomorrow's home game against Chicago. It will kick off a three-game homestand, with showdowns against Toronto and Atlanta to follow.
Michael Ryder, a healthy scratch in last night's 2-1 win over Philadelphia, is practicing on the fourth line. Ryder has to find his game before the playoffs. The winger showed, in last year's first round against Buffalo, how important he can be in the playoffs when he's skating and hitting.
Today's lineup:
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi
Rich Peverley-Chris Kelly-Tyler Seguin
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton/Michael Ryder
Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Tomas Kaberle-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid
Shane Hnidy-Steven Kampfer
Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask
