THIRD PERIOD

All over here at Bell Center. Habs walk to easy victory.

Update: Pacioretty in local hospital for observation, able to talk to medical staff and has full use of limbs.

13:21 -- Bruins on board with Lucic goal, even strength, cuts Habs lead to 4-1.

7:00 to go. Habs still with 4-0 lead.

Marchand awarded penalty shot at 4:08. Easily stoned by Price on 15-foot forehander. LastCup72's just can't score.

The finaly 15.8 seconds of the second period are finished off without either side scoring and no penalties.

SECOND PERIOD

So, 39:44.2 officially in the books and Habs with 4-0 lead. It takes nearly 10 minutes for medical staff to tend to the KO'd Pacioretty before he is wheeled off ice on stretcher.

Chara is tossed from game, assessed 5:00 for interfence and given a game misconduct. Very questionable call. Hit was without malice. Chara finishes check and Pacioretty unfortunate to hit support beam.

While medical staff tends to Pacioretty, officials suspend play for remainder of period. The remaining seconds will be added to Period 3.

Horrible scene here with 15.8 seconds to go in period. Chara checks Pacioretty at Montreal bench and Habs forward is out cold after slamming head hard into support beam at end of Boston bench. Out cold. Not responding for a couple of minutes. Being strapped onto spinal board.

15:09 -- Habs, 4-0. Wisniewski rips in slapper from above left wing circle. Sizzling shot after Chara and McQuaid fail to contain puck in zone, left wing board.

14:31 -- Boychuk off for tripping.

11:34 -- Another Boston power play (Montreal, too many men). And....another goose egg. Time to plant Chara up front on the attack? Maybe given Seguin a chance? Maybe decline penalties?

9:26 -- Another Boston power play (Hamrlii, tripping). Another goose egg.

7:15 -- Habs, 3-0. Beating is on. Gionta connects on 25-foot wrister off rush. Rask appears to make glove save, but puck trickles through, despite Chara's attempt to keep it from bleeding over goal line. Not looking good for the LastCup72's. The Ole-Ole-Ole chant is beating down on them.

6:41 -- Another Habs PP. Kelly off for hooking Mara.

B's again stoned on PP. Now 0-for-14 since last power-play goal on Feb. 18.

0:55 -- Plekanec off for kneeing Lucic.

FIRST PERIOD

First 20:00 in book. Habs with 2-0 lead. Bruins better late in period, getting pucks down low and pressing to rear wall. But the les petites Habs stand tall.

17:37 -- Habs, 2-0.. Bruins' failure to get puck out sets up Eller alone down near right post and he finishes off forehand lift after pretty spin move at top of crease. Two goals tonight for the Danish-born forward.

Lots of skating, not much action around net. With 6:46 to go in first, each side with six shots on net.

Halfway through period, Montreal with 5-4 shot lead.

8:21 -- Montreal, 1-0. Lars Eller goal after ex-Bruin Pual Mara wrists in shot from above left wing circle. Habs score while still carrying play after failing to strike on PP.

5:51 -- Habs first shot on power play. Seguin off for tripping.

No PPG for B's. Now 0-for-13 in last six-plus games.

3:11 -- Dandy fight between Boychuk and Ryan White, with White landing the better of the blows. Dustup follows Boychuk's open ice attempt to level Subban. White draws minor penalty for instigating. Bruins take to power play.

Puck down.

Seguin gets the nod over Paille. Rask vs. Price.

Teams on ice now, warming up for 7:30 p.m. start. Based on initial look, it appears Tuukka Rask in Boston net, opposing Carey Price.

Both Tyler Seguin and Danny Paille taking warmup for the LastCup72's. One of them destined to spend night in press box.
