NASHVILLE -- With 1:23 remaining in overtime, Shea Weber hummed a one-timer through Tuukka Rask to give the Predators a 4-3 OT win last night at Bridgestone Arena. Steven Kampfer was in the box for holding.

"Bad penalty," Kampfer said. "I'll be the first one to admit it. Bad penalty on my part. I cost the team the game. It's my fault. Bad penalty. It's my fault. There's nothing more to say."

Patrice Bergeron gave the Bruins a 3-2 lead in the third period when he beat Pekka Rinne at 1:42. But the Predators tied the score at 10:56. Rask made two glittering stops on Martin Erat and Sergei Kostitsyn. But David Legwand outhustled the Bruins to the loose puck and beat Rask on the third shot.

At 10:59 of the second, former Boston University star Colin Wilson busted a 1-1 tie. Wilson beat Rask short side with a long-range wrister. Wilson's shot might have skimmed off the blade of Johnny Boychuk's stick.

The Bruins rallied later in the second to tie the score. Pekka Rinne got in front of a Nathan Horton slap shot. But David Krejci, crashing the net, batted in the rebound at 13:33.

Rinne made a slick glove stop earlier in the second to wipe out a Michael Ryder chance. Ryder had just stepped out of the penalty box when the puck skittered his way. Ryder had a breakaway on Rinne, but the goalie gloved his shot at 8:04.

Tyler Seguin, who scored the only shootout goal in the Bruins' 3-2 win over Columbus on Tuesday, had a hot stick in last night's first period. During a two-on-one with Chris Kelly, Seguin raced down the left wing and stared down Rinne. With Kelly providing net drive to the far post, Seguin went high glove on Rinne, picking the top corner at 1:50 to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead.

But the Predators took advantage of some sloppy defensive play by the Bruins to even the score. After a net-front scramble, Sergei Kostitsyn winged a puck past Rask at 7:53 to make it a 1-1 game.

At 17:30 of the first, Seguin was on the wrong end of a Patric Hornqvist elbow. Seguin was going for a puck in the defensive zone along the boards when Hornqvist decked him with a elbow to the chin. Hornqvist was tagged with a five-minute major and a game misconduct.

On the following power play, Milan Lucic rattled a slot shot off the crossbar at 18:48. It was the best chance the Bruins had, as they failed to score during the five-minute stretch.

2:59 OT: 3-3
Steven Kampfer off for holding. Four-on-three for Nash.

20:00 3d period: 3-3
Bruins get one point. Shame that Tuukka Rask's teammates give him zero help on the tying goal.

16:10 3d period: 3-3
Adam McQuaid gets popped in the mouth. Matt Halischuk rakes McQuaid across the face with an errant stick. Looks OK with all chiclets intact.

10:56 3d period: 3-3
Too much pressure on Tuukka Rask. Rask stops Martin Erat out of the box. Then gets Sergei Kostitsyn with the pad. But David Legwand swoops in and buries the third shot. Anybody backchecking?

8:46 3d period: Bruins 3-2
Martin Erat off for high-sticking Patrice Bergeron. Bruins could put the Predators in a bad spot with a PPG.

7:04 3d period: Bruins 3-2
Smothering stop by Pekka Rinne on Mark Recchi. Rinne's made a handful of sparklers.

1:42 3d period: Bruins 3-2
Patrice Bergeron takes a pass off the wall from Mark Recchi. Bergeron sweeps the puck through Jonathon Blum and past Pekka Rinne. First goal for Bergeron since Feb. 26.

20:00 2d period: 2-2
Good pushback by the Bruins after Colin Wilson's goal. Don't expect to see much of the McQuaid-Kaberle pair in the third. Have not been good in own end.

13:33 2d period: 2-2
Pekka Rinne gets in front of Nathan Horton's slapper. But David Krejci, crashing the net, taps in the rebound. Heavy shift by the first line.

10:59 2d period: Predators 2-1
Colin Wilson beats Tuukka Rask with a long-range wrister short side. Might have ticked off Adam McQuaid's blade and changed direction. If not, that's a softie.

8:04 2d period: 1-1
Pekka Rinne gloves Michael Ryder's shorthanded bid. Ryder all alone after escaping from box.

7:16 2d period: 1-1
Holding on Daniel Paille. Five-on-three PP for 40 seconds. Timeout Nash.

5:56 2d period: 1-1
Michael Ryder sends Jordin Tootoo into the Boston net. Interference on Ryder. Starts with bad Mark Recchi turnover in offensive zone.

1:28 2d period: 1-1
Tyler Seguin seeing some PP time. Good of Claude Julien to recognize Seguin has hot stick. Julien usually slow for such in-game adjustments.

20:00 1st period: 1-1
Bruins will have more than three minutes remaining on the power play in the second.

18:48 1st period: 1-1
Milan Lucic rattles the crossbar with a shot from the slot.

17:30 1st period: 1-1
Patric Hornqvist gets his elbow high on Tyler Seguin. Five-minute major and game misconduct for Hornqvist.

15:37 1st period: 1-1
Game-changing stop by Pekka Rinne on Milan Lucic. Lucic was going hard to the net.

13:13 1st period: 1-1
Two lousy shifts in a row by the fourth line and the Kaberle-McQuaid pairing. McQuaid to the box for interference.

10:46 1st period: 1-1
Not much on the power play aside from a Zdeno Chara one-timer. Back to two units instead of three so far.

8:22 1st period: 1-1
Good interference call by Brian Pochmara on Sergei Kostitsyn. The ex-Hab had set a pick on Mark Recchi.

7:53 1st period: 1-1
Sergei Kostitsyn evens it up after a net-front scramble. Two ugly shifts in a row by the Bruins. Running around defensively.

1:50 1st period: Bruins 1-0
Tyler Seguin, on a two-on-one, goes high glove on Pekka Rinne. Filthy. Good net drive by Chris Kelly.

0:00 1st period: 0-0
Brad Marchand is out for the first of two games.
