The Bruins have confirmed a disciplinary hearing for Andrew Ference at 11 a.m. regarding his hit on Jeff Halpern last night. TSN first reported the hearing. The call will take place with Mike Murphy, senior vice president of hockey operations.

At 8:30 of the third period, Ference appeared to clip a forechecking Halpern with his right arm. Halpern went down and required assistance to skate to the dressing room. Halpern returned to the bench at 8:43 of the third.

Just last week, Ference had a call with Murphy regarding the middle finger he flashed in Game 3. Ference was fined $2,500.
