"I'm not happy with the way I've been playing," Lucic said. "Obviously I know I can bring a lot more. For now, the main focus for myself is that I've got to stop thinking negatively and thinking about what I've been doing wrong, and start focusing on what I know I can do right. Try to bring that element to the game."
Lucic and first-line mates David Krejci and Nathan Horton have been seeing plenty of Hal Gill and P.K. Subban. Montreal's top line of Mike Cammalleri, Tomas Plekanec, and Andrei Kostitsyn has also seen regular shifts against the top threesome.
But with Patrice Bergeron's line being the most consistent unit, Jacques Martin might alter his matchups. Bergeron has been playing against the second pairing of Roman Hamrlik and James Wisniewski.
* Mark Recchi was the only player not to participate in the morning skate. Recchi went through an off-ice workout instead. Recchi didn't skate prior to Game 4 either.
