Bruins goalie Tim Thomas (31 saves) on the win:
"The playoffs are always faster and there's more energy, a few more scoring chances than a regular-season game, but that was Bruins playoff hockey tonight."
Chara on having Patrice Bergeron back in lineup:
"He's a player that brings so much to the table, offensively and defensively, in all situations, so it's a big help."
Defenseman Andrew Ference on the Game 3 win:
"I think we have a core group of guys here for a number of years, including the coaches and staff. They set the attitude around the locker room. That's why you see our young guys. We expect a lot out of them. We don't treat them like young guys, we treat them like our teammates... We're not a team big on talking about buying in, we just buy in."
Coach Claude Julien on the Bruins' play:
"Tonight's game probably resembled a lot more of what i think everybody's expected from this series, you know, two teams that make it hard for you to score, and I thought our team tonight was very good in regards to that. We made some stronger plays, some better decisions, and we seemed a little bit more aware out there of what was going on."
Julien on Bergeron's return:
"I really liked the way he played. You see the difference he can make for our hockey club, faceoff-wise, but also his responsibility at both ends of the ice. His line was definitely better. His linemates obviously felt comfortable because they've been with him all year, so there was some chemistry there, and that certainly helped us tonight."
Julien on Thomas crediting the defense in front of him:
"He's been a great goaltender, he makes the big saves when he has to, and he's been good, and I guess this is the way this team is, he'll give the credit to the people in front of him and I think it's very deserving because I think our team did play well in front of him. But when they had some great opportunities, he was also there to make the big save, so I think it's really one of those games tonight where you want to spread the credit around."
