Before we turn our full attention to Vancouver, a few last thoughts from the Bruins locker room on what it means to them to reach the Finals:

Patrice Bergeron: "It’s something special. Something we can look at and realize that we have a lot of character. We stayed resilient all playoffs and we believed in ourselves all along. But at the same time, that being said, there’s one more round to go and the biggest one coming up. So, we’ve got to enjoy this right now but at the same time, we’ve got to go right back at it."

Milan Lucic: "It’s a dream come true right now, obviously, to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals. We have to enjoy this tonight, look forward to what is ahead of us. I mean, a lot of good things have happened to me in Vancouver. I played for the Vancouver Giants, won a WHL championship in Vancouver. Got drafted in Vancouver. Won a Memorial Cup in Vancouver, and here we go. It is the Stanley Cup in Vancouver. It is a dream come true, definitely. Just to make the Stanley Cup finals is a dream come true, but to be able to play in your home town, it makes it extra special. I am going to do whatever I can to make the most of this opportunity."

Zdeno Chara: "t’s something that this team, this organization, this city has been waiting for a long time. So obviously very excited. We can enjoy the moment today, but we are going to go obviously back to work tomorrow."

Nathan Horton: "There are twenty eight other teams that would like to be in our position. And it’s an unbelievable feeling and we’re going to the Stanley Cup Finals. It’s sweet."

Shaun Thornton: "Well, there’s no need to celebrate, we’ve got a bigger picture that we’re looking at. We’ve reached the Finals. I mean the ultimate goal is right in front of us. There’s one team in our way. So, that’s when the real celebrating happens."

Mark Recchi: "This is what I’ve played for and to get this opportunity one more time and probably my last time is pretty special. With this group of guys, right from day one of training camp we put a lot of belief in each other, a lot of trust and a lot of work together. And I’m going to end my career at some point and say this is one of the better groups I’ve ever played with and been proud to play with and no matter the outcome."
