Bruins' center Patrice Bergeron wasn't available to the media today after practice at TD Garden but the good news was he was in the building. The forward, who has been the team's best two-way player up front in the postseason, is continuing his recovery from a mild concussion suffered in the third period of Game 4 against the Philadelphia Flyers last Friday.

Coach Claude Julien said he is improving.

"He's here and he's doing better,'' said the coach. "Given with the concussion symptoms and everything else and the protocol of it, he's here today because he's feeling better. So we're getting some positive feedback from him.''

**Defenseman Zdeno Chara didn't practice but Julien said it was an opportunity to give the big blueliner some extra time off.

**The team will not practice tomorrow, given that the series won't start until Saturday. Julien said it was the last chance for everyone to have a break.
