Brutal defensive work by Tampa. All three goals come off giveaways. Heads-up Patrice Bergeron grabs two unassisted goals, his third and fourth of the playoffs. He is Boston's leading playoff scorer with 14 points (4-10—14).
Tim Thomas stopped all 10 shots, including a post-to-post kickout of a 2-on-1 chance. His defensemen were a little sloppy early on, but they buckled down.
