Most of the Bruins were given today off. Tuukka Rask, Adam McQuaid, Shane Hnidy, Steven Kampfer, and the rest of the Black Aces were the only players to skate today. The Bruins will resume practice tomorrow.

Brad Marchand, Chris Kelly, Daniel Paille, Gregory Campbell, and Tyler Seguin were present to fulfill media obligations.

Marchand noted that during the first two rounds, there have been numerous times when the coaches or teammates have reminded him to calm down. Marchand named Chris Kelly, Shawn Thornton, Mark Recchi, Zdeno Chara, Dennis Seidenberg, and Andrew Ference among the players who have pulled him aside.

"Once I get in the rhythm of it and get going, it's tough for me to sit back," Marchand said of his agitating ways. "I do need people to pull me back. Or else I won't really stop."

* Because Patrice Bergeron will be unavailable for Game 1, the Bruins will be without their best draw man and one of their go-to penalty-killers. Claude Julien said David Krejci will most likely get the nod to resume PK duties in place of Bergeron. Krejci had killed penalties alongside Blake Wheeler for approximately two-thirds of the season. But Julien had been resting Krejci during the penalty kill, then sending him out with Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton upon the completion of nearly every PK.
