Here's a transcript of Brad Marchand talking about the Bruins' 6-5 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning:

On Tyler Seguin’s performance tonight…
Yeah he showed why he's going to be such a great player and why he's always going to be a threat in this league. For him to step up like he did tonight, and last game too he did a great job. He was really the reason we won tonight.

On if he is surprised at the eleven goals…
Yeah, we knew any lead in playoff time isn't safe, and we wanted to make sure we buckled down defensively but that wasn't really the case in third. But with a team like they have over there, anything's possible. Any night they can score five, six goals. So you always have to be ready to battle with them and it's always going to be a battle right to the end.

On the team’s reaction after the first quick goal…
Yeah we wanted to bounce back from that goal in the first shift. It's always tough to take, but we did a great job of battling back. We knew if we kept pushing forward, we'd be able to get back in the game and we did a great job at bouncing back from that.

On the penalty he drew in the second period on Vincent Lecavalier…
Yeah I didn't even know he took it on me, but I was trying to drive the net. I saw [Rich] Peverley beat his defenseman wide and just wanted to go to the net. And I think he got his stick inside. It was a great job by the power play to capitalize on that.
