504621288.jpg.jpgBruins captain Zdeno Chara had his day with the Stanley Cup today, and he visited Bratislava in his native Slovakia, and then took it to his hometown of Trencin.

Chara ate one of his favorite foods, rice cake, out of the Cup, according to NHL.com. He was also presented with a statue of himself that will auctioned off to benefit children with illnesses.

Several other players from the Bruins' championship team have had their days with the Cup in Europe. Tomas Kaberle brought it to Kladno in the Czech Republic on Wednesday and David Krejci met him there and then took it to his hometown of Sternberk, Czech Republic, on Thursday.
