WILMINGTON – Good morning from Ristuccia Arena, where the rookies are undergoing physicals and fitness testing prior to their on-ice session at noon.

Following their testing, the players wheeled around the ice for approximately an hour. They have two more practices before they travel to Long Island for two games against the Islanders.

“The guys all showed up in good shape,” assistant GM Jim Benning said. “The guys that were at development camp, they put in the work the last couple months. They all look good. We’ll see. They’ll play their exhibition games on the Island, then we’ll decide who comes to main camp from there.”

Best bets for a lengthy stay in Boston are Ryan Spooner, Jared Knight, and Dougie Hamilton. All three played for their respective national junior clubs this summer.
