The Bruins have completed their final practice before the start of the 2011-12 season tomorrow against Philadelphia.

“Our guys are excited to turn the page, move on, and start a new chapter,” coach Claude Julien said. “That’s the feeling I’m getting from around the dressing room.”

The guess here is that Benoit Pouliot gets the nod over Jordan Caron tomorrow. Pouliot would be on the left side on the third line with Chris Kelly and Tyler Seguin.

* There is a new sign in the dressing room. “Demolish the bridges behind you… Then there is no choice but to build again.”

* The Bruins have not decided on who will be the second alternate captain. It could be a permanent position, or it could rotate like it did three years ago.

* Adam McQuaid didn’t practice today because of a virus. Julien said McQuaid is possible for tomorrow. If McQuaid doesn’t play, Matt Bartkowski would be in the lineup.
