WILMINGTON – Good morning from Ristuccia Arena, where the Bruins have started practice.

Jordan Caron, assigned to Providence yesterday, is back with the big boys. Caron had an assist in Providence’s loss to Albany yesterday. Caron, a healthy scratch for the last two Bruins games, needed some action.

Today’s lineup:

Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Nathan Horton
Milan Lucic-Chris Kelly-Tyler Seguin
Benoit Pouliot/Jordan Caron-David Krejci-Rich Peverley
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Joe Corvo
Andrew Ference-Steven Kampfer/Adam McQuaid

Neither goalie is on the ice to start. The skaters are working on shooting drills at four nets positioned around the rink.

"We're trying to get better in those areas that we practiced today," Claude Julien said. "Not a bad thing. We've done it in the past. Not the first time. It's helped us along the way."

* Jordan Caron skated with Zach Hamill and Carter Camper yesterday, scoring an assist in Providence's loss to Albany. Caron was informed by GM Peter Chiarelli that he'd be returning to Boston after the game. Caron will continue to serve as the 13th forward.

* Adam McQuaid remains day-to-day. McQuaid didn't have any limitations in practice.
