CHICAGO -- Following today's mid-afternoon workout at the United Center, Bruins coach Claude Julien said defenseman Adam McQuaid is being treated as if he suffered a concussion Wednesday night in Raleigh.

Read: Look for rookie blueliner Matt Bartkowski to get the call here Saturday night when the Hawks, the 2010 Cup champs, face the defending Cup champ Bruins.

''He is still suffering some headaches,'' said Julien. ''He has a lot of neck pain, and that's making it hard to diagnose whether he has a concussion or a neck strain. He's day-to-day. We're handling it as if it's a concussion right now. If so, it's mild...we are more concerned about the neck right now.''

Tyler Seguin again will pivot the No. 1 line, between Nathan Horton and Milan Lucic, with David Krejci still sidelined by a core injury.

Seguin said he already feels comfortable slotting between Messrs Lucic and Horton.

''Yeah, by the third period I thought everything felt fine out there for us,'' said Seguin. ''I played some with Horts in the preseason, but never with Looch. I thought we clicked OK. If they have the puck, they're going to take it to the net, and I've got to get it to them.''

All NHLers yesterday received an email from Donald Fehr, executive director of the Players Association, notifying them of a delay in their refund checks from last year's escrow withholdings. Reason: the PA is disputing how the league calculates all hockey related revenues (HRH).
